Welcome to our academy.

I will explain you how our ranking system here works.
First of all, we have 5 rankings of duelist + the moderator function:
  • Beginner
  • Casual Duelist
  • Intermediate Duelist
  • Advanced Duelist
  • Professional Duelist
  • Moderator (extra function, don't ask to be in this group, we will contact you if we see potential)

Every duelist starts as a Beginner. And will try to become a Professional Duelist. But how can you rank up?
Well at the start you will automaticly get 100 DuelPoints (DP). And it is your task to win more by joining tournaments and dueling other players.

To become a Casual Duelist you will have to obtain 1000 DP, When you have reached this amount, you have to post a message in the appropriate topic. The Moderators will then change your rank as soon as possible.
As a Casual Duelist you DP amount will be decreased with 1000 DP (sort of payment) and you will get 200 DP to start with. ( If you have f.e. 1100 DP, you will have 300 DP to start as Casual Duelist (1100-1000+200)).

Now you can try to become an Intermediate Duelist by earning 2000 DP. when you do so, please follow the same instructions as to become a Casual Duelist. The only difference is that your DP will decrease with 2000 and you wil get 300 DP to start with.

As you can seen the upgrading system is always the same except the amount of DP changes.
Advanced Duelist requires 3000 DP, and you start with 400 DP.
Professional Duelist requires 4000 DP and you will get 500 DP . When you reach this level your name will be put in the hall of fame.

Note: it is possible to lose DP during duels and tournaments. So what happens when you lose it all?

When you have become a Professional Duelist, you don't have to worry (for now). You will just get 100 DP the next day. Also when a Beginner has 0 DP it will increase with 100 the next day. You will also have to place a post in the appropriate topic, so the moderators can see when they have to give you DP.
But the rest of the Duelists will be put in their former rank. But you won't get 100 DP to start with the next day. You will immediately get halve the amount which is needed to rank up again.
This means:
  • 500 DP for those who get back with the Beginners.
  • 1000 DP for those who get back with the Casual Duelists
  • 1500 DP for those who get back with the Intermediate Duelists

Now you know everything about ranking up. Please also look at the DP explanation topic to learn the rules of Duel Points.
